As part of an active field school, a number of UCLA students have benefitted over the years from the support of the Committee on Research of the Academic Seante of the University of California, Los Angeles.
Another major area of support has been for research done on campus, as a follow-up to the excavations. This has been channeled in many directions:
- assistance in working through the excavation records to prepare the publications
- file management in the organization of the overall archive
- finalizing drawings
- systematizing the digital photographic archive
- establishing and maintaining the server for our website
A concentration of all these activities took place in the summer of 2002, when we conducted a study season on campus – which has been editorialized in the newsletter of the UCLA Institute of Archaeology.
